Fire Alarm System Operation

The activation of any manual or automatic device shall cause the following:

1.  An alarm shall sound throughout the entire building.

2.  The sound of the alarm is an alternating tone.

3.  The floor in alarm shall be indicated on the fire alarm annunciator that is located on the first floor of all buildings.

4.  All elevators will recall to the ground floor if smoke is present in the elevator lobbies.  They will remain in service.

DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS!

5.  The Fire Command Center is located on the first floor.  The Fire Command Center provides:

A. Monitoring of all automatic fire alarm devices.

B. Automatic and manual control of HVAC and elevator equipment, w/a.
