Conference Center
A conference center for your use is located on the first floor of 2600 Cumberland Parkway. Conference Room scheduling should be made using our Online Scheduler or with the Property Management Office at (770) 434-0571 as early as possible to ensure availability. The charge for the use of this Center is $25.00 for the first hour and $10.00 for each additional hour.
Heating / Air Conditioning
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning is monitored and controlled by a state of the art computerized energy management system, resulting in the most efficient use of energy and environmental control, immediate response to problems, and a comprehensive approach to maintenance. Indoor air quality is monitored to maintain recommended air quality guidelines established by the Public Health Service. Hours of operation are 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday (by request only).If after-hours service is needed, notify the Property Management Office before 4:00 P.M. on the day of the request by submitting an Overtime Air Conditioning Request Form (request these from the Property Management Office). After-hours service is charged to the Tenant at the current rate of $30 per hour. For after hours service on weekends, call 770/434-0571 and Security will provide you a form and then forward it to the engineer on call.
Cleaning
Janitorial service is provided Monday through Friday with the exception of legal holidays. These services include nightly dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, sanitizing and mopping. Additionally, floor waxing and polishing, window washing, spot removal and mini-blind cleaning are performed on an established basis. Special services such as carpet shampooing are available at the Tenant's expense. To ensure satisfactory performance of the cleaning contractor, periodic inspections are made of the common areas and tenant spaces by the Property Management Office. We encourage the Tenant Contacts to notify us immediately when a concern arises regarding the cleaning service. This allows us to address the problem immediately.
Maintenance and Repairs
Cumberland Office Park maintains a staff of professionally trained Engineers and day porters to operate the buildings at peak efficiency in addition to responding to the service request you may have. Requests for service should be addressed to the Property Management Office by the designated Tenant Contact in your firm. That individual should provide the following information:
 Nature of request / problem
 Exact location of problem
 Contact person
Upon receipt of this information an engineer will be immediately dispatched to the location. Upon completion of the request they will have the contact person sign the service request, indicating the work was completed. For those requests that are above building standard service, such as electrical wiring or painting, you will be asked to sign an “Above Standard Service Request” form (ASR) with the appropriate charges noted. Our staff can also direct you to a contractor if required. Please note that the expense of replacing building standard lighting is included in the operating expenses by Property; however, any other bulbs or service to specialty lighting may be charged to Tenants.
Elevators
Tenant floors in most buildings are serviced by two general passenger elevators. Each elevator contains a call box, which is monitored 24 hours a day. For procedures in the event of an emergency, please refer to the Emergency Procedures Section of this manual.
Parking
Parking facilities for Cumberland Office Park consist of surface parking lots except for buildings 2500 and 2580 that have access to a parking deck. Parking is based on a first come, first serve basis. Handicapped spaces are designated. Parking without permit is prohibited in the designated handicapped areas at the buildings. Security will issue 2 written warnings violation and 3 will result in towing.
Pest Control
Prentiss Properties employs a professional service firm to provide a thorough pest elimination and prevention program for the common areas of the buildings.
